3 Future Collector Vehicles for Car Lovers The classic car world regards that only the vehicles manufactured before 1972 fall into the category of collectibles. Some of the cars made between 1980s and 1990s, however, have wronged the notion. Many car enthusiasts love collecting classic cars, but most collectible vehicles are quite rare and expensive and therefore, usually missing from car auctions online. If you too wish to own a collectible, a pocket-friendly option is to go for collectible cars manufactured during 1980s and 1990s. To help, this post discusses five such collector’s vehicles. Toyota 4Runner (1984-89)

The first generation mid-size sports utility vehicle produced between 1984-89 had two doors. The latter half of the car had all the changes whereas the dashboard forward design of the vehicle was similar to the pickups. The models produced in the first year had black or white fiberglass top. The 1984 models have carbureted 2.4L 22R engine and the ones from 1985 came with an electronically fuel-injected 2.4L 22R-E engine. Models made in 1988 for 1989 had some cosmetic changes, but many of the designs remain untouched.
