– Jayson Angove Just got my board. Yes it took a long time but was it worth waiting for such beauty and craftsmanship? Yes, without doubt, yes it was! Daniel was a star, always helpful and honest and I would recommend Salvage Custom to anyone, anytime. – Alex Gray About Salvage Custom Daniel Tyack has been a builder ever since he was a kid. It’s in his blood. He got the engineering gene from his Dad, a highly sought out electronics engineer from Southern California.
Daniel and his father back in the early 80’s When Daniel was growing up, if there was something he needed, such as a plug or a printer cable and they didn’t have one, Daniel’s father would bring him into the garage and say, “Make one.” Daniel would spend much of his youth experimenting with metals, electronics, woods, soldering irons, saws; basically any of the tools or materials his father had available were always at his fingertips. We have since hired a whole new team of people to help polish the brand. This is a very exciting time for Salvage Custom. I’d like to get Salvage Custom products in the hands of every musician in the world. Death to plastic!”
The many options available at Salvage Custom Mainly, in a world of disposable products with no character Salvage Custom prides itself on being just the opposite. Death to the Ikea’s of the music world. There’s too much crap out there, with no soul, no human touch. There needs to be more functional art. It gives life character. Salvage fills that void. Ironically, if you were to meet Daniel in person, you’d never sense that pride from his personality. He’s one of the nicest, realest guys out there. When he attends NAMM, he purposely signs in as “Just A Guy” and when you ask him for a business card, you get a hug.
