PRAYER NETWORK Worldwide Prayer Meeting The General has called us to pray every Thursday, for half an hour, between 5am and 8am. The Vision Plan enables us to move forward to change the world together, with God at our centre. Through prayer, we can make this happen.

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. ... Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. John 17:20-21,23 We Thank you: • That the Holy Spirit is moving • For the increasing numbers of people joining the Army • For your work in our Corps • For your links in our Division and within the Territory • For the opportunities we have to get together and support each other. We confess • For not reaching out to former soldiers • For having been shown everlasting grace and mercy, but not always showing it ourselves. • For not trusting, for wanting our own way, not God’s • For focusing on ourselves, not the bigger picture We pray: • Make us one in the Spirit • Guide our Officers • Give us a hunger for your word • Help us forgive and value each other • Raise up a new generation • Unite us in prayer • Bring us together, with God at the centre
One Mission Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19—20 We Thank you: • For rescuing us from the enemy, for setting us free • For the opportunities we have to change the lives of the needy • For innovative and courageous people, who have taken steps into new outreach areas. We confess: • That other things have taken over importance in our life • That we have expected people to come to us, not us go to them • For failing to speak up for the oppressed • For being stuck in a routine. • For leaving evangelism out of our social work • For not taking risks • For not being patient or compassionate We pray: • Bring the prodigals home, and let us welcome them with open arms • Raise up sacrificial people to fight the injustices of the world • Give us the Spirit of humility • Give us boldness for justice, let us not be afraid to go and meet people where they are. • Teach us to be inclusive • Give us Your heart
One Message I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10 We Thank you: • For knowing you • For the person who first shared God’s love with us • For the Freedom to share Your word • For the Bible, Your word. • For Your Spirit to empower us. • For transforming ordinary people into Your disciples. • For creative, new ways to share Your Word We confess to you • For not sharing your word or Your love, with the world • For not being responsive to the Holy Spirit’s prompting • For turning the wine of the Gospel’s message into water • For our Bible illiteracy • For turning our backs on the unloveable We pray: • Strengthen our faith • Give us a spirit of courage and wisdom • Open our eyes to new ways to evangelise • Strengthen and inspire us • Pour out Your love on us, that we may love others • Help us to see the people, not the program • For the Fruits of Your Spirit
