In the Bible there are incredible stories of young people choosing to trust God. In return, God used them to do extraordinary things. As you read about these young people, be inspired because Jesus is calling you to make a difference too.
Jesus
What Happened?
When Jesus was 12 years old, he travelled to Jerusalem with his family to celebrate the Passover festival. However, on the way back home, Joseph and Mary realised he was missing. They rushed back to Jerusalem searching for Jesus. Three days later, they found him in the Temple, listening and asking questions. When Mary said that they had been worried, Jesus replied saying, ‘Didn’t you know I’d be in my Father’s house?’
Luke 2:41–52
What Can We Learn?
Even though he was God’s son, young Jesus still spent time learning about God. Doing so, helped him to understand and complete his mission of saving everyone from the wrong things they’ve done.
