In the Bible there are incredible stories of young people choosing to trust God. In return, God used them to do extraordinary things. As you read about these young people, be inspired because Jesus is calling you to make a difference too.

David - Part Two

What Happened?

Goliath, a Philistine giant, challenged the Israelite army to a ght. The Israelites were scared, but when David heard, he was furious. David accepted the challenge and when Goliath teased him for being young, David boldly replied that he had God on his side. David picked up ve stones, ran towards Goliath and slung one. The stone hit Goliath’s forehead and killed him.

What Can We Learn?

David’s faith in God was incredible. He didn’t let his young age stop him from taking a stand for God. God saw how courageous and willing David was and gave him the victory.

Thoughts for You

Do you think you’re too young to make a difference? Read Matthew 19:14 and 1 Timothy 4:12. Your relationship with Jesus has the power to make a big difference in the world around you.
