Letter from the Editor Dear Salysians, What brings you joy these days in the middle of a global pandemic?

Has the holiday season perked you up? Does putting up the Christmas tree and rediscovering those cherished holiday decorations make you smile a little?

Is it your favorite food or your favorite drink?

Is it your favorite nature walk?

Is it your favorite museum? Is it seeing your favorite work of art?

Is it creating your own art?

Is it your favorite outfit that makes you “remember when” you did...?

Do flowers bring you joy?

Do memories bring you joy?

Is it a sip of your favorite wine or that first bite of a meal prepared with love by a loved one?

When was the last time you had a great big belly laugh?

It has been a difficult year for all of us.

We have lost too too many loved ones!!

I do sincerely hope that the promise of a new year and new beginnings gives you some peace.

I hope the pages of SALYSÉ bring just a little bit of joy to your day.
