Notes
Message from the Ambassador I always have trust in Thailand. And I always believe that the future of Thailand is in the hands of all Thais. Likewise, the future of every Thai is and always will be in Thailand. I also believe in the younger generations of Thais that they are qualified and most gifted. If they are given opportunities, they can not only manage the achievement, but they also can excel themselves. Once, responsibilities to serve the country are passed on to younger generations who are well-groomed through various opportunities and extensive experiences, Thailand is assured to move forward towards greater progress and prosperity. These convictions serve as an inspiration for the Royal Thai Embassy to co-create with Samaggi Samagom, the long-renowned Thai Student Association in the UK, the “Samaggi Fair”. It is an event which offers our youth students here in the UK opportunities for internship and potential future employment in leading businesses and various government agencies in Thailand. The Thai students will meet in this event not only invaluable job opportunities from leading Thai corporations, but they also will entertain a chance to meet top executives from Thailand, both from government and private sectors, to learn from their wisdom for success and to decide their future career opportunities. Moreover, the “Samaggi Fair” also provides a forum for Thai students in the UK to showcase their research work and discuss new ideas among their peers, guided by imminent persons in related field. For this year, it is more special as we also have the 1st start-up competition for students with practical ideas. I am confident that various great initiatives from our youth will be further innovated into implementation and become another asset of our country. I thank all individuals, corporations, and government agencies represented in this “Samaggi Fair”, whose friendship and constructive cooperation have made this event possible and successful. I am also privileged to work with Samaggi Samagom to make sure that future of Thailand is in our hands, and our future always lies in Thailand. H.E Mr. Pisanu Suwanajata
The Ambassador of Thailand to the United Kingdom
