AUTOBIOGRAPHY As a kid, Samaher has always had a passion for art and design. The impression of expressing a feeling or telling a story through art was fascinating to her. Art or design that would inspire her and stimulate her creativity. She believed that she had the ability to create something exceptional and spectacular. Interior design piqued her interest because it’s a form of art in a larger scale, as a young adult who liked to be challenged, sky was the limit for her. Samaher decided to move to the United States to experience art and design from different perspectives. She believed that art is a universal language; and with its diverse and unique culture, San Francisco would inspire her to the fullest. For Samaher, interior design is not just about picking furniture or paint colors. Interior designers are the conductors that guide users’ emotions, activities, and interaction within a space. Because being in a functional and aesthetically pleasing space should be the fundamental principal for the modern world

About the project
Combining the past and present with a splash of contemporary. The richness of gold patterns, elegance of the classical beauty, and intimacy between love.
STAIRS A
The client is a nonprofit group called Green Acres (a fictitious organization), which has purchased an existing two-story office building with 39,100 sq. ft. gross. My role as the designer is to plan the interior renovation of the building and meet the client’s programming requirements. Green Acres will continue to own and operate the facility once it is completed. STAIRS B

Nature is the most effective and organic treatment for everyone. Nature therapy involves encouraging someone to spend time in a “healing space” in the natural world. My space conveys a powerful ambience of beauty, mystery, and the life force. Our surrounding is a gem itself, the marriage of this natural beauty and a functional space helps the users. In other words, it is a sacred place. The space is the connection between nature and the users, in order to work within nature, not against it, which also is the fundamental core of sustainable design.
“I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles.” – Anne Frank.

Green building practices have garnered quite a bit of attention recently as architects, developers, and property owners seek to gain LEED certification for their buildings. E-Landscape has built an impressive track record of reliably executing work on LEED and “LEED-like” projects. From installing Green Roofs and greenscreens, to constructing integrated rainwater harvesting systems and helping in the selection of materials with a low Solar Reflective Index (SRI) value in order to reduce urban heat island effects, our experience on “green” projects enables us to add value to projects seeking to minimize their environmental impact.

NATIONAL GEOGRSPHIC
About the project NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC
“AT NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF SCIENCE, EXPLORATION AND STORYTELLING TO CHANGE THE WORLD”
There are four user groups that will occupy this building; corporate staff, hospitality staff, maintenance staff, and the public. National Geographic supports sustainability and suggest that all spaces are user friendly and contribute to the mental and physical health of all users. Corporate Staff The corporate office will cater to the staff members that are involved in running the administrative, editorial, design/production, and marketing aspect of National Geographic. They are one of the most
National Geographic is a society that started in 1888 in Washington DC. It was first created during a time when people from Europe and America were curious to know the stories about other cultures and the adventures that were taken. The spread of knowledge and learning are one of the fundamental goals this society wants to bring to the life of an ordinary person. As a nonprofit organization, National Geographic is dedicated to exploring our planet, protecting wildlife and habitats, and helping assure that students in K-12 are geographically literate. They award grants to explorers, who go out into the world to gather knowledge that will be shared to 700 million people a month through its media platforms, products, events, and experiences.
important user groups due to the fact that they create the materials that make National Geographic. Offices, reception area, conference rooms, and studios are necessary. The total square footage should be at least 5,300 sq.ft. Hospitality Staff and Public Since the Hospitality staff will be dealing with the public it is clear that they should be together. This user group will occupy the highest square footage of approx. 8,000sq ft. The reason is due to the fact that National Geographic’s most important believe is educating the public and should be a learning experience. There should be a retail space, an exhibition room, a café, and a multipurpose room that can host events, classes, and speakers. The public and staff areas should be separated to prevent the public
Each year, this society funds more than 300 research, conservation, and exploration projects around the globe. There are four categories in which National Geographic focuses on, which are, Our Human Story, Critical Species, Our Living Planet, and New Frontiers. Within each category, they explore, reveal, understand, and search for new information and knowledge that is invaluable to our species and planet as a whole. In the end, National Geographic believes in the power of science, exploration, education, and storytelling to change the world.

from entering designated areas e.i. the kitchen of the Cafe component. Maintenance Staff This user group will be the smallest but they will be who maintain and keep safe the building. They only need to occupy around 3,700 sq.ft of the building. It is important to make sure that we keep the building support rooms in a subtle yet convenient places for theses staff in order to keep the building operable.
SITE The Presidio is a middle to upper class neighborhood. It is both residential and commercial, however, the project site’s surroundings are mostly residential. That being said, acoustical is one of the main concerns given that it is a commercial building. The access to the building should be included in the design process since the building is in a court/circle, therefore parking may become as issue. The area is clean with cohesive landscape design, one of our goals when designing the building is to keep its landscape into consideration. Building Information: • Steel beam structure • Red tile roofing • LIight steel roof truss • No sprinklers • 2 Floors

about the project
site Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.Western Region, 21577
Jeddah is a Saudi city located in the middle of the eastern coast of the redsea known as the Bride of the Red Sea and is considered the economic and tourism capital of the country. Its population is estimated around 3.4 million and it is the second largest city after Riyadh.
project brief “I love graffiti and pop art, and this mural combines the two; it’s refined graffiti, Fierabend says. I designed a fresh sandiwich fast food resturant for organic locla brodacts. The Idea behind was to create fresh and organic looking space by applying 3 main materials among( metal, wood, eclaric) The space and using the logo as a color palette . Chalkboard and plants are the main design element in the space

CREATION From organic and raw natural elements, the process of creation transforms these elements into a polished visual statement.
color Contemporary interiors feature toneon-tone color palettes relying heavily on brown, taupe, cream, and pure white. Shots of color are sometimes found on a single wall, in a striking floor rug or in a special piece of art
furniture Pieces feature clean lines and smooth surfaces without any carving or adornment. Silhouettes are slim without being dainty. Furniture is made of light-colored woods such as maple and birch (which also have minimal graining), frosted or clear glass, stainless steel, nickel and chrome.
