Under or over-ventilating a home can be a serious issue, especially considering the huge insulation improvement measurements being made to existing housing stock.

Under-ventilating can be caused by incorrect ventilation specification, over adjusted automatic controls or a product that’s not designed to achieve installed performance. The most logical and only timer that bases the amount of time it over-runs by on occupancy duration;

e.g. - Knowing and sensing a spike from an activity like a shower, (whatever the relative humidity reading) rather than waiting for a generic humidity point to be reached.
