Caractéristiques

Poster – Centre Marie-Ève Centre Marie-Ève is a charity located in the Lower Laurentians of the Province of Quebec in Canada that helps mothers. The director of the Saint-Jérôme center asked me to improve the layout of their poster. She provided me with the text and their logo. Since the poster is aimed at mothers of infants, I chose to use soft colors and stard. I also created the baby clipart which makes it unique.

Infographic and Logo This project was divided into 3 parts: the logo, the composite image and the infographic poster. We first needed to come up with a company name and create a logo. The logo is a pencil, representing graphism, shaped as a light bulb, representing creativity. As for the image, it shows Motnreal and Quebec, the 2 cities compared in the infographic. As a matter of fact, the information is color-coded with the colors used in the composite image.

Poster For this projet, we were provided with the text and a few choices for the company's name. This design is entirely based on a music concept. I added musical notes above the two "i" in the title and also used musical notes for the bullet points. I also created a guitar in Illustrator to add to the design.

Tri-Fold Brochure For this project, we had to design an advertising brocgure for a fictional exhibition by the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal on Piet Mondrian's art. I chose a design "In the style of Mondrian". I chose to place the text on only 2 panels inside the brochure and to use both sides of the smaller panel to feature pictures of objects dsigned in the style of Mondrian.

Logo and Stationeries Through this project, we had to come up with a fictional company name and then create a logo for this company. We also had to design writing paper, an envelope and a business card using the same visual identity. The logo is made of an ink spot on which part of the company name is traced. Furthermore, the "g" is shaped as a pen. Finaly, the ink spots at the bottom of the paper and envelope links them to the logo.

Website (Weebly) Through this project, we had to create a complete website with 5 main pages and 2 subpages. We had the liberty to choose the subject of the website. I dediced to create a website on Canada and World War II. The font used for the titles is a good representation of war and that time in history. All the picture on the website are from Library and Archives Canada.

3D Poster I created this poster following the brief provided by The Graphic Design School during one of their DEX weekly design exercice. The goal of this exercice was to create a poster that looked like a paper 3D collage. I created each of the elements of this poster using Illustrator.

Every Design Logo I created this logo for a fictional design company during a CreativeLive online course. For this exercice, we had to create a 2-letter monogram logo. Because of the font I used, I was able to create a butterfly with the company name initials. A couple of design elements were added to make the design even more convincing. I wanted the logo to be simple and very feminin.

Magazine Layout I created this project through a free online course offered on Skillshare. The goal of this projects was to use the 5 cores principles of graphic design taught throughout the course to create an interesting layout. I used a grid and placed the images and text in such a way as to create an asymetric and dynamic layout.

Composite Image This was one of the weekly challenge the Shaw Academy instructor gave the students during the 4-week graphic design course. To create this composite, I used 4 royalty free photos.Regardless of the difference in luminosity and style of the different pictures, the composite makes it look as though all the elements are part of a whole.
