Who: The Armitage Hall Foundation, a $1billion Chicago based charitable institution, together with the board of directors, Arnold A. Phillips President of Armitage Hall Foundation and Jessica Haddaway, Vice President of Government Relations for Radnor Steel. What: The Armitage Hall Foundation will make an announcement concerning the new President position for the foundation that will be offered to Jessica Haddaway. Where: The announcement will be made at a news conference in the Astoria Room at the Hilton Chicago, 720 South Michigan Avenue. In conjunction to the news conference, the Society of Corporate Philanthropy’s 23rd Annual Corporate Giving Conference will also be taking place. When: Thursday, March 11 at 9 a.m. A breakfast buffet will be served from 9:00 to 9:30. The news conference will begin at 9:30 promptly. Mr. Phillips and Ms. Haddaway will be available for interviews beginning around 10a.m. Why: The Armitage Hall Foundation is experiencing some changes within the foundation. This news conference will be the first step of sharing the important announcements concerning Jessica Haddaway as the new President of the foundation. The foundation is looking forward to working with Haddaway and her approach to giving donations to smaller Chicago non-profits. She hopes to give money to social service agencies, Head Start type programs, and community medical clinics. Haddaway is not against giving big grants, but she believes in providing more small grants to local charities.
