Chantelle and Joseph, having been blessed with the very rare ability to grow a childhood romance into an eternal and lasting bond. Having first met eyes when Chantelle was only 13 and Joseph 15, both immediately fell in love and from that first moment have never looked back. In honour of their amazing story of growing, changing and experiencing everything together over the years, Chantelle and Joe added a unique element to their day.

A graceful entrance in a White Cloud Rolls Royce immediately set the tone for the wedding – with the moment capturing the romantic nature of their relationship. A sentimental feel was beautifully threaded in throughout the ceremony to the background of the soft, sweet notes of Angus and Julia Stone’s “The Wedding Song”. In a poignant, moving touch, Chantelle wore a special charm on her bouquet, keeping Joseph’s late father close at every stage of the day.

STYLE

Chantelle’s soft, cascading dress caught the light with every movement, sparkling along the hand-beaded lace and crystal details lining the delicate fitted bodice. Paired together with SAMANTHA WILLS’ Olivia’s Amour Earrings, Chantelle managed to effortlessly capture the very essence of glamorous sophistication, complimented by bouquets of ivory roses. The added detail of Chantelle’s Nanna’s vintage diamond and sapphire bracelet, gifted to her Nanna over 50 years ago by her Pa, was a beautiful touch to complete the time-old tradition of something old, new borrowed and blue.

Hair and makeup for the day evoked a timeless Hollywood glamour, with voluminous hair and soft, nude lips to match, and each Bridesmaid was wistfully clad in French Navy/ Black styles that were slightly varied to compliment each woman individually. Style ran from the Bride right down to the gorgeous little flower girl, who was dressed for the occasion in an ivory tulle flower girl dress with beaded lace and sweet cap sleeves.

The timeless, ethereal romance of Paris, the setting where Joseph proposed, was threaded in and out throughout the day. Mini, Eiffel Tower shaped place-card holders by Kate Aspen were scattered along the tables, and French chic flowed through the black and white glamour of the detailing.

For surprise bombonieres, black and white m&m’s lay hidden inside personalised damask tins for each guest, and the cake was a towering five-tier, blackand-white jaffa extravaganza. The romantic atmosphere was finally completed with large, crystal centrepieces surrounded by twinkling tea lights.
