Baltimore Harbor Cinema Pavilion
The Baltimore Harbor is home to a dynamic cultural landscape. The excavated spaces of the pavilion frame views of the prominent Federal Hill and the National Aquarium, and create a niche for a new ferry terminal.
Kaskaskia Civil Engineering Museum
Along the river between Missouri and Illinois is Kaskaskia Island, which was chosen as a site for a Civil Engineering Museum, reflecting upon the dichotomy between man and nature.
EVolo Tower for a Changing Climate
Caswell Daitch Architects was interested in creating a tower that continued the dialogue of reuse and sustainability resulting in a tower for pods. The story of the tower wsa taken to the extreme with a distopic sensibility.
SWACO Landfill Visitor Center
Columbus Ohio is the leading contributor to the largest hill in central Ohio, a landfill. The building creates a platform for educating visitors about waste by simultaneously exposing the garbage and framing views for the public.
New York Theater City
This project was sited in Hudson Yards, NYC, and used the modulated system of rails in order to inform the wrapped nature of the complex. The interwoven “rails were used to distinguish between public and service space.
