This project is a luxurious 2- storey residential house. This house consists of an unfinished basement, first floor and second floor. The unfinished basement has an indoor garage, cellar, storage and a separate entrance door. The first floor has office located near the front while, grand room, kitchen and dining room are all located towards the back. On the second floor there are all the bedrooms and a view outward on the west side under the dining room. We had paid special attention to the traffic flow within the family and potential work related affairs. We had also tried to incorporate as much natural light as possible.

This project is located on Bathurst Street and Davenport Road and the allowable building footprint was 700sq. ft. It is a building that is eco-friendly and self-sustaining. The purpose for the TollKeepers-Environmental Sceince Community Center is to complement and increase the interaction of the community in an educational manner. the dome shaped roof was made of triple glazed, argon gas, low-emisivity glass while the framing was aluminium roof sheathing. the decking and flooring was bamboo wood which is recycable and very durable as well as there was a water harvesting system underneath the building and a solar panel.

This warehouse is for Acme Packaging company. The warehouse is a steel structure which consists of precast concrete panel curtain wall, insulated metal stud curtain wall with prefinished metal siding and glazed curtain wall in prefinished aluminium frame exterior finishes. The office area is located on the North - West side where the glazed curtain walls are found. While the warehouse and employee lunchroom and mechanical room is covered with precast concrete and insulated metal stud. The ceilings within the office area is an acoustic dropped ceiling while the warehouse is un-covered and are held up by open web steel joists and beams. The ground floor consist of convenience store, florist, yoga studio, hair salon, restaurant, travel agency, and a super intendant office. The shape, exterior finishes and floor layouts were pre-determined by the client. Our major objective was to produce build construction drawings, explaining the wall connections and structural capability as well as, to analyze the layout to verify and confirm its compliance with the Ontario Building Code.

We were assigned to design 4 new buildings that will connect as well as, restoring the exterior and structure integrity of the heritage building. The concept we had come up with was to connect our building to the surrounding environment such as, the heritage building and cemetary. For that reason our commercial space consist of a yoga studio representing the connection in the mind and soul which is also connected to the heritage house, a book store/ reference library representing knowledge, a photo shoot studio representing memories of moments and a pharmacy representing wellness. Each unit is in an L shape pattern and lay-out as a puzzle. We had accommodated for solar panels and water harvesting systems so that the units could be self preserving. 34
