The Town of Jericho is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Road Foreman to manage a six-person Highway Department. Jericho (pop. 5,005) is a rural bedroom community in close proximity to Burlington with 61 miles of town highways. This “working” foreman position requires experience with personnel management, all aspects of highway and bridge construction and maintenance, employee and contractor oversight, equipment operation and maintenance, job safety, mechanical ability, record keeping and communication skills, budget development, and any other tasks assigned by the Town Administrator. The position is full-time and requires a flexible schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays. This position is hourly, with a starting range of $26.50/hour - $29.50/hour commensurate with experience. An excellent benefits package is also offered.
