Join our community of architects and designers. The Sam Fox School offers a rigorous architecture program within a dynamic, cross-disciplinary campus. You can earn a degree with a more architectureintensive experience or one with a broader liberal arts base. The College of Architecture also offers minors in architectural history and theory, creative practice for social change, landscape architecture, and urban design. You’ll graduate with the tools to design beautiful, innovative, and sustainable architectural environments, and become a more creative thinker and designer.

We believe that you learn by doing. Our program provides hands-on, real-world engagement, both in the St. Louis community and beyond. Students work collaboratively with renowned faculty, exploring a wide array of media and techniques. Your work will engage actual sites and tackle complex social, cultural, and environmental challenges.
FACILITIES
Our spacious facilities include a new digital fabrication lab, dedicated wood and metal shops, and additional studios for printmaking, book arts, textiles, and digital design. The School is also home to the worldclass Kemper Art Museum and the Kranzberg Art & Architecture Library.

Your education here will prepare you for lifelong success in any career you choose. Our graduates have become worldwide leaders in architecture, as well as in sustainability, development, landscape architecture, urban design, furniture design, interior design, and fashion design. They include Fulbright Prize winners, founders of major firms, and artisturbanists selected for the Venice Biennale.

We offer semester and summer programs in Florence, Italy, where studio work is complemented by courses in Italian language and Renaissance art and architectural history, along with field trips around the region and Europe.
