SAM HEYDT PHOTOGRAPHER Born in New York City, Samantha Heydt’s interest in photography stems from her experiences overseas and the influence of her father who is also an artist. In 2004, she commenced her studies at La Sorbonne in Paris, after which she transferred to the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina where she studied dance and fine art. In 2005, she began her degree in communications at The New School, spending several years abroad in Amsterdam and later in Florence. As a result, she speaks several languages. Currently, she finishing up her second degree at Parsons the New School for Design in photography. She has had work exhibited at the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, as well as several galleries in Italy and New York City.
