Artist, designer, filmmaker and photographer Sam Heydt has lived and worked in Paris, Venice, Vilnius, Athens, Sydney, Istanbul and NYC. She completed her studies across a spectrum of international universities including the Parsons School of Design, Universidad de Buenos Aires, La Sorbonne and the Universiteit van Amsterdam, Netherlands, and has been artist in residence in Iceland, Australia and New Zealand. Her work speaks to the disenchantment of the social psyche at the hands of the media and the desolation of the natural world. She has undertaken a range of nonprofit work for developing countries. As a fine art photographer, she has exhibited in a constellation of galleries & museums throughout the world and is in the permanent collection of the State Hermitage Museum of St. Petersburg. She is currently residing in between Venice, Italy, Vienna and the States.
