Adulting is an interior design publication for young apartment dwellers and first time home buyers. Those who are in the awkward phase of young adulthood, experiencing “real-life” responsibilities for the first time. Appealing to those interested in spaces that blend maturity, personality and probably a few childhood momentos. San Rafael Coffee Roasters hope to help the dwindling local economy of the Carbon/Emery County area by generating jobs and encouraging local tourism through coffee. Inspired by the local scenery, they create coffee as rich and majestic as the accompanying landscape. Each blend is dedicated to one of the many remarkable destinations on the San Rafael Swell. They require packaging and an e-commerce website that fit in with this celebration of the land and recreational culture. Use the San Rafael Cactus as a mascot because as an endangered, flowering cactus, it represents the beauty and endangered situation of the area. Design Concept: Drink in the view. First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo in need of designs for memorabilia to be used during their up-coming concert tour. Research the lyrics for the song, My Silver Lining, to create a record design that visually and logically represents the vibe of the band. Use this final design to branch off and create varied designs for merchandise that work together and that should appeal to fans. Pretty fierce and ferociously feminine. Savage Beauty appeals to women who relish their individuality and dare to express their wild and untamed side. It’s makeup with a mean streak. Warpaint is their multi-formula line of lip colors and requests the following: environmental graphics, packaging for each of their three formulas (nude, matte and metalized gloss), and a custom hand-drawn logo. Andy is a fashion boutique providing classic “mens” formal fashion pieces for male, female and other physiques. They follow “androgynous fashion” trends and cater to individuals whom identify with gender fluidity, androgyny, bi-gender, etc. The name Andy was developed by taking the first three letters and middle “y” from the term “androgynous”; it was also chosen because the name, Andy, is gender neutral. Like stores that offer regular and plus size options, every item in the boutique is available to fit the frames of men and women, sizes X S - XXL. They also offer alterations for those who would like an even more custom fit, or who feel they fall in-between or outside the two main frames. They encourage fashion experimentation and breaking with tradition. The goal of their store is to make everyone look their best and feel comfortable in their clothes and their own skin.
