"DESPERATION" 1.
ACT I EXT. NIGHT (Don’t forget to add quickness to her not just her tone but actions. Light flickers the scene into life, now above a street light. To reveal a Taxi beneath. The colored reflections of nearby shops paint in the memory of rain. Ruminants of blood, dilute the pavement. Descending slowly through the roof to turn on the 3:25 reading out on the glowing clock. Back between droplets on a naked shoulder and a rough jumper, behind the front seats. Now the drenched slender outline of a naked woman, holding her dignity in shaking hands. Her wet blonde hair clinging to her. Then blues and two break on to the street ahead. Two cars race up it as we drift through the wind screen. Turn to face it’s occupants as the blue becomes more defined. The slender beauty’s drunken fear, dabs the thumb side of her right hand against her lips, fidgeting. The TAXI DRIVER’s worn face curls up. JULIE (CONT’D) Oh fuck! This really IS fucked up. We rise to above the light as it flickers the scene out to blackness. TITLES BEGIN INT. WICKED BAR Light comes up to a pencil spot. Ripples onto the gloss of carefully painted, womanly lips. It follows them weave, in time to music that counterpoints, there parting. The light flickers into forming the tile. DESPERATION Flickers back, while her tongue comes from within, to slowly stroke the arc of every plump fold that surrounds it. Time slows on delicate, red tipped fingers, as they place a pink, gold filtered “Sobraine” cigarette within. To draw then release a cascade over there pursed form. Light goes down. The pencil spot now paints in hazel dew. That simmers into the golden jade edges, of eye’s that pop against cradled eyelashes. Made up to perform with a puppy like innocence. A spot comes up as does a lamp on a small table. Setting a masculine form sat before it into shadow. Winkle pickers cutting the edge of it’s illumination. Laid back in the arms of a chair and it’s empty partner beside it. THE MAN Is it odd that loneliness finds me in a place like this..? A spot comes up and colored lights, as this young starlet of a beauty, winds a mesmerizing dance with a parasol.
