hackme [a hacking interface]

Piracy has its own manifesto. If the

Manifesto of Piracy develops further, what would it be like? Your images, your voices, your names…belong to you. In a way, you have a Copyright © of your images and your voices. Ha©k me is an expanded interface that would inspire people to think about Copyright in a different way. The input would be your images, your voices. Ha©k me would then process to glitch the input and spread the

datas all over internet. How do you feel when you see someone else has the same face as you or vice versa ? What would you do when your images show up in a movie ? Is it a good idea that your images are available to download on Novamov, Megavideo, Youtube,etc..Ha©k me would inspire the users to have some thought on Copyright. I would also create a Zine book to explain how ha©k me work.

Organismic Fashion

FASHION AS AN LIVING INTERFACE Organismic Fashion, as separated organismic

beings, have endless possibilities. Since they are organisms , the clothes have their own reactions to the surrounding environment. In the alternate future where Organismic Fashion exist, clothes could correspond with your DNA .Clothes could also be generated from good bacteria. They could become an extra immune system, giving you extra protection for your skin while supplying vitamins and minerals to nurture your body. Organismic Fashion could also develop to further state where it could “think for themselves if they manages to reach the level of highly developed species. In an emergency situation, it could protect its host or reduce the damage.

To investigate the possibilities of this interface, we

People always say: “You live with Fashion. Imagine what would happen if you could blow life into your clothes.

Fashion is an interface itself. There are various inputs & outputs on the concept. Input could be personal style, sexual intention, social identities while output might change or expand into more than one, depend on what type of input we have. It could be

did research on Bio Engineering and related subjects. It’s interesting that many people has proposed a similar ideas in different way, such as Gordon Park and his organismic system or the relative new Bio Design. For the final outcome, we created the website for Organismic Fashion, a short film and a fashion catalogue to showcase and demonstrate our ideas.

SWEARZONE

though and bad language, I realise that it’s “a human thing” and maybe orientated from stress. Experts believe that people might use “bad language” as a result of stress-relief, hence I invented the Swear Zone Interface Based on many researches, psychologists concluded that bad thoughts has “almost certainly always been a part of the human condition”. People swear and their need of using bad language has been argued that stress might be the main factor. The SWEARzone is invented to serve

as a stress relief method, not to be confused with encouraging the use of bad language. There are 3 variations of the SWEARzone, the Bully Face, Camera Censor and Meanie Label. The Bully face would change its expression upon your sound input. The Camera Censor would pixelate your images more and more as the frequency and the volume of bad language goes up. The Meanie Label tagged you from level 0 to level 13. It would politely ask you to Stop until it has enough of your swearing and decide to swear back

Website Processing interface Documentaries

FINALOUTCOMES For the SWEARzone interface, I created three version:

Bully Face, Meanie Label and Censor Camera. They’re created in Processing, using mainly video and minim library. Also, I made a website to explain further about my interface. The website is colourful, eye-catching with exciting graphic. It also somehow reflects the 2nd version of the SWEARzone, the censor camera. On top of that, I made a few documentaries of User Testing & “Why do people swear ?”. Since it’s created in Processing, I uploaded the source code for people to download
