This project was a part of the softening fibers lab in collaboration with Studio Tjeerd Veenhoven. Through this project, I was trying to look for locally available natural materials which are currently considered as plant waste and convert it into a useful material using a solution which permanently softens the material. This new material could encourage natural crafts and provide skills and employments to local communities thus creating an ecological economy.
