2)Whatarethekeysectorsthathave been allocated the highest funds in this year's budget, and do you think theydeserveit?

If you see in terms of the budget allocation and if you also see the post budget speech, this was one of the historic budgets that India has ever seen. There was a lot of money allocation in the end. If we compare it tothethelastyear'sbudget,therewas alotofmoneyallocationbeingdoneto theinfrastructuresector.About10lakh crore rupees will be invested by the government on the infrastructure projects like ports, roads, railways, airportsetc.

Second key allocation was to the defencesector.There’salotofimpetus by the government on the Atmanirbhar Bharat. The government wants to make a plethora of things in India which has got several positive effects in terms of employment, in terms of Make in India in terms of transfer of technology from other companiesorcountriesforthatmatter, eventually to boost exports inorder to have a healthy current account balance.

And thirdly, which was a major highlight was for all middle class and salaried people, there was a lot of impetusonsimplifyingthetaxslabs which would, thereby leave a lot of money into the hands of the people. Somoremoneyinhandsofthepeople was the agenda of the government, which eventually will lead into, more consumption at the bottom of the pyramid. Eventually once there's a lot of consumption it generates many employment opportunities which starts a cycle that the government aimed to start. And these were the threefocusareasofthebudget.

3) Union budget 2023-24 presents visionforAmritkaal-blueprintfor an empowered and inclusive economy, what are your viewson it?

Theseedshavebeensownoverthelast fivetosevenyearsforthenexttwentyfive to thirty years. So if we intend to become a $10 trillion economy by say 2030,evenforthatmatter2032.
