CARPENTRY FOR KIDS Weeks 1, 2, 3, 4

Carpentry for Kids is an enrichment program for K-6 designed to teach practical woodworking skills with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools. Students will have an opportunity to create fun, functional, and beautiful projects, measuring, sawing, rasping, sanding, drilling, fastening, as they develop the valuable skills of problem solving, craftsmanship, fine motor skills, respect for tools, and patience. Morning and afternoon sessions available.

TECHSPLOSION UNPLUGGED!

Join Techsplosion for an amazing screenless summer of science! Launch a rocket, cook s’mores with the sun, compete in the egg drop challenge, and more! Each week is themed, and designed with flexibility in mind in case of changing COVID restrictions. Since 2010, Techsplosion has offered our STEM-themed summer camps, after school classes, birthday parties, and workshops at hundreds of bay area locations to thousands of excited participants.

CREATIVE SEWING & FASHION DESIGN CAMPS

LET’S GO CAMPING SEWING CAMP Week 5

Ages K-5th Fashion Design 4 Kids All sewing levels welcome! Campers will trace and cut out an animal pattern to make their own stuffed animal and a big size pocket pillow. Campers have the choice of making the following super cute animal felties: Llama, Sloth, Flamingo, Tiger, Penguin, Koala bear and Kangaroo. Along with their animal they will also sew a tent, sleeping bag, camp fire, marshmallow stick and take them on an imaginary camping adventure. All materials are included in the price of the class. For a full day camp pair with the Dancing Daisies Hip-Hop afternoon camp from 1:00-4:00pm

UNDER THE SEA SEWING CAMP Week 6

Ages K-5th Fashion Design 4 Kids All sewing levels welcome! We will sew a shimmery mermaid quilt or under the sea animal such as a seal, whale, or shark . These little creatures are perfect for any sleepover. Other projects this week will include sewing a mermaid, seahorse, shark, pom pom garland, and a big size soft matching pillow. All materials are included in the price of the class. For a full day camp pair with the Dancing Daisies Hip-Hop afternoon camp from 1:00-4:00pm .

FAIRIES, DRAGONS, AND UNICORNS SEWING CAMP Week 7

Ages K-5th Fashion Design 4 Kids All sewing levels welcome! Fairy land sewing camp is a magical sewing experience like no other. Together we will sew miniature fairy dolls, dragons, unicorns, rose bud crowns, wands, felt fairy houses, and a story book . All materials are included in the price of the class. For a full day camp pair with the Princesses & Princes Ballet afternoon camp from 1:00-4:00pm.

RAINBOW FASHION SEWING CAMP Week 8

Ages K-5th

Fashion Design 4 Kids Calling all the princesses and princes to design and sew a pretty pink, purple, or turquoise tutu. Tutus are the perfect project for a beginner and no experience is necessary. Campers will use colorful rolls of tulle ,ribbons, and silk flowers to sew and embellish their projects. For a full day camp pair with the Princesses & Princes Ballet afternoon camp from 1:00-4:00pm

DANCING DAISIES HIP-HOP CAMP Weeks 5 & 6

Ages K-5th Fashion Design 4 Kids Campers will have opportunities to build and experience friendship, self expression, and movement all while learning new dance skills . There will be an array of activities which will include creative dance lessons, nature walks, and outdoor play. They will learn various dance elements . PRINCESSES & PRINCES BALLET CAMP Weeks 7 & 8

Ages 5-8 Fashion Design 4 Kids Campers will explore the step by step basics of ballet and movement. Your little one will get to dance to their favorite songs, enjoy story times, and learn a special princess/ prince dance. Each camper will receive a royal bag, tiara/ crown, charm bracelet, and cape too!

CHESS WIZARDS CAMP Week 9

Ages 6-12 Chess Wizards Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Our camps include fun team chess games (like bughouse), recess time (of course), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your vacation with Chess Wizards! Chess Wizards has been teaching the game of chess since 2002. Our interactive curriculum makes learning fun for new and seasoned players alike. BANANA & THE ICE CREAM CREW

Ages: 11-15 Be a part of 23 Elephants Theatre Company’s first ever original musical for kids! Banana and the Ice Cream Crew is a story about acceptance, friendship, and yes, singing bananas. The tale follows Banana, outcast by his fellow fruits in the fruit basket, on his journey to find his place in the world. During his quest he bumps into the Ice Crew, a kind and fun-loving gang of singing, rapping, ice cream flavors. Ages: 11-18 Join us for a two-week long musical theatre experience that explores the rich creative world of The Spongebob Musical. This groundbreaking Broadway show, conceived by award winning director, Tina Landau, features music by an array of incredible artists, including John Legend, Cyndi Lauper, and Sarah Bareilles! Students in class will explore character development, dance and music through assigned roles and songs.
