Carpentry for Kids curriculum is designed to teach practical woodworking skills, with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools. Students will have an opportunity to create fun, functional and beautiful projects, measuring, sawing, rasping, sanding, drilling, fastening, as they develop the valuable skills of problem solving, craftsmanship, fine motor skills, respect for tools, and patience. This class is for students of all levels. Returning students will be introduced to new tools, techniques and project choices.

$50 materials fee paid directly to instructor, due at first class meeting.

Age range 6 years old - 13 years old. 2/22-2/25 Tuesday-Friday Class times: 9am - noon, or 1pm - 4pm $185/$197

SKI WEEK & SPRING BREAK CAMPS

Ages K-5 Instructor: Recreation Staff Join our enthusiastic staff for a lively and entertaining mix of activities, crafts, and sports when school is out! The camp is lead by Coach Mike who has been directing sports programs in our community for over six years now, working at both pre-schools and elementary schools! Our staff will creative a positive, safe, and comfortable environment for all campers. Location: Isabel Cook Community Center, Vista Room

SPRING BREAK SEWING CAMP

During this camp your child will build beautiful projects and lasting memories with friends new and old. We will sew cute spring baskets, stuffed bunnies and chicks, spring wreaths, zipper pouches, owl and heart pillows, and more. Each day we will sew, create, and design adorable projects using our new spring fabric collection. All materials are included in the price of this camp.
