Hamilton Pool

Hamilton Pool is one of those places that will have you saying, “Wait, THIS is in Texas?!” And indeed it is! A short drive from Austin in Dripping Springs, TX is this beautiful nature preserve created by Hamilton creek cascading 50’ into a box canyon. But before you hop in your car, there are some things you need to know before you visit!

Staying at Asante Lodging in Dripping Springs is truly a unique experience. The African inspired decor was beautiful! While staying at Asante, we booked the Machan, a treehouse with a bridge overlooking one of the feeders that the springbok feed from. With bamboo walls, thatched ceilings, and beautiful African inspired decor, you might forget you’re in Texas.
