Sourcing Materials

The exterior skin of the building is comprised of shop shutters, creating a metallic facade which partially reflects the surrounding architecture of the High Street. Selected shutters will also remain open throughout the day in order to provide access and daylight. At the end of the day, these are mechanically closed during the Grand Shutter Ceremony, marking the end of the trading day.
