STATEMENT
SANDLER HUDSON GALLERY
SandlerHudsonGalleryisproposingthe workoftenartists:fivewomenandfive menofdiversebackgroundsanddisciplinesatdifferentstagesoftheircareers, allofwhomhaveaconnectiontoAtlanta, whetherbeingbornhere,workinghere, orshowinghereatpresent.Theseartists areKristaClark(Atlanta),WilliamDowns (Atlanta),HannahEhrlich(Atlanta), ErinGarcia(LosAngeles),SusanLoftin (Newnan,GA),andPamLongobardi(Atlanta),IgnacioMichaud(Atlanta), Michael Reese(Atlanta),MicheleSchuff(Atlanta), andP.SethThompson(borninAtlanta, livinginChattanooga).
We have carefully curated each case with a variety of media including drawing, painting, collage, digital photography, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles, all activating the spaces in challenging and unexpected ways; from emulating a gallery setting to recreating a wall in an artist’s studio. By showcasing multiple works from each artist, we are providing range and insight into their individual practices. It is our intention to surprise and delight the viewer with the interplay of these innovative and beautifully executed works.
TERMS
Terms:
All of the specified artworks will be at Sandler Hudson Gallery for pick up by ATL Airport Art at specified date.
ATL Airport Art will be responsible for transport both to the airport and for return of the works to Sandler Hudson Gallery.
ATL Airport Art will be responsible for installation and deinstallation.
ATL Airport Art will be responsible for graphics production (signage).
ATL Airport Art will be responsible for insurance coverage for the artwork until it is returned to Sandler Hudson Gallery.
Installation Duration: 1 year
Price: $20,000.00 to be divided between artists and gallery.
