AT SAN DOMENICO

VISUAL ARTS Visual Arts at SD is a skills-based scope and sequence program that builds upon techniques and emphasizes the process of artmaking rather than solely focusing on the final product. Classes are taught as an academic discipline and involve in-depth study, development of skills, personal integrity, and self-expression. Students thrive while exploring a variety of mediums including ceramics, drawing, printmaking, and painting. Our studio-based program offers creative, hands-on, experiential learning, and our visual arts faculty routinely invite visiting artists into classes. At the end of each semester, student art is showcased throughout campus and in the annual San Domenico Art Showcase.

THE ARTS AT SD At San Domenico, the arts provide an essential opportunity for inquiry, exploration, agency, social commentary, and personal expression.
