PANTHER ATHLETICS IN 2020, BOYS’ BASKETBALL WAS CROWNED NORCAL CHAMPIONS! Additionally, SD won Championship titles in the Bay Area Counties League (BCL) in Boys’ Varsity Basketball, Girls’ Varsity Basketball, Boys’ Varsity Baseball, Coed Badminton, and Girls’ Golf. We are also proud of our many other teams that participated BCL league playoffs.
AQUATICS Plans are underway to expand our swimming pool and create a state-of-the-art aquatics center including a competition-size pool for swimming, water polo, and athletic training.

FEATURED COACHES MARK CHURCHILL ATHLETIC DIRECTOR AND DIRECTOR OF CROSS COUNTRY AND TRACK & FIELD Mark holds a Masters in Education from Johnson State College in VT. He was the 1993 New England High School Cross Country Champion and Foot Locker National Finalist in high school as well as owning 11 individual state titles in cross country, track and field, and nordic skiing. He ran for Division I Iona College where he received his undergraduate in Business Management. His coaching experience spans 20 years as a varsity and middle school coach for cross country and track and field teams in VT and CA with 12 Vermont State Team Champions and numerous individual champions. At San Domenico, Mark has increased our running programs from a handful of athletes to over 30 in both cross country and track and field, and the teams boast individual BCL champions who have qualified for NCS, Meet of Champions, and State.

BOYS VARSITY BASKETBALL HEAD COACH AND DIRECTOR OF BASKETBALL OPERATIONS
A Marin native, Fiona attended the University of San Francisco on an athletic scholarship for soccer. She captained the Lady Dons her senior year, and was the team’s leading goal scorer in 2007. She graduated in 2008 with a degree in International Politics with a minor in Latin American Studies. After college, Fiona was drafted in the sixth round to the Chicago Redstars, but her love of travel and cultural experiences led her to Europe instead. There, she played professionally for ten years in the top leagues in Sweden, Germany, France, and England. During this ten year period, Fiona also represented the Irish National Team and remains the second all-time goal scored. Following her playing career, Fiona coached at USF, De Anza Force ECNL before joining SD in 2017. Fiona has also run her own soccer camps for beginners and competitive players across the Bay Area since 2002.
A native of Marin, Coach Fulton played basketball at Drake High School, College of Marin, and Cal Lutheran University. He has coached at Terra Linda High School, The Branson School, and also led the College of Marin Women’s Basketball program to the state playoffs six out of seven years in his tenure as head coach. With 20 years of basketball experience, Coach Fulton is recognized as one of the best coaches in Northern California and was recently inducted into the College of Marin Hall of Fame. At San Domenico, Coach Fulton led his boys team to BCL Central league champions in 2018 and NORCAL champions in 2020.
MARK ANDERSON DIRECTOR OF AQUATICS An All-American water polo player, Mark has been coaching both swimming and water polo in Marin County for over 30 years. He is the Head Coach of the 25-time Marin Swim League Champions Sleepy Hollow Swim Team, and also serves as the Co-Head Coach and founder of SHAQ Water Polo Club. Before joining San Domenico, Mark led the Drake High School Water Polo team to seven MCAL Championships, and in 2017 and 2018, 36 of Mark’s athletes went on to play for Division I colleges and universities. In 2014, Mark was inducted into the Marin County Athletic League Hall of Fame for Coaching, and was recognized not only for his history of success at building programs, but also for his strong commitment to building community. Mark’s focus is always on the overall health and well-being of his athletes. “We don’t talk about winning,” he is often heard saying to athletes and parents. “We talk about taking care of the kids by showing them what hard work, accountability, dedication, good sportsmanship, and team unity look like, and the winning often comes out of that.”
