Pais textil is the trademark of Cumpi Camayoc (master weaver in Quechua) a company dedicated to the development of handicrafts in Peru. We design and implement social development projects in crafts and manufacturing, in rural and urban areas, as part of Corporate Social Responsibility Policies funded by solidary companies. Our main goal is to support the production and business development of the groups of artisans we work with and get fair prices for their work, but also to recover and foster ancient techniques of textile weaving and enhance the value of traditional Peruvian handicrafts. We promote the use of first class materials and the creation of contemporary designs, inspired by the textile living culture of Peru.

This collection of pillows, table accents and bed runners, is a display of technical styles in back strap weaving. Symmetrical dashed lines, squares, and

striped fabrics, small and large colourful tassels.

Inspired by chumpis (traditional belts) with Andean motifs of mountains and nature, warakas (traditional slingshot cords) which have been incorporated into the pillows and traditional tassels of the Andean world. Hand weaved in the finest Peruvian Pima and Tang端is cotton.
