Join us for our fourth annual Tybee Island Retreat! Wake up at the beach each morning and take a leisurely walk before breakfast in the Dolphin Reef. We take over the meeting facility at the Ocean Plaza Resort & Hotel and run amok! There is always something to do. Have too much to do? Just come for the open sewing and finish those pesky UFOs and take home your completed projects. At the end of the day, watch the waters calm as evening approaches. The sewing isn’t done! The open sewing room is available at all hours! We’ve been working feverishly to get together a great set of classes for your sewing pleasure. We have brought back favorites and are bringing in new ones too! The tuition rate remains $250 and includes the classes of your choice. the southern hospitality, sun, sewing and surf. Don’t miss out!

These lodging options feature a king or two queen sized beds. Room includes radio/alarm clock, full-size bathroom, hairdryer, chairs, balcony, coffee maker and TV with remote control. Neck Roll Pillow* Learn the basics of heirloom sewing while constructing a Neck Roll Pillow. Supply list: ½ yard cotton batiste. 1 1/2 yard cotton lace insertion (3/4 to 1 ½ inches wide), 1/3 yard embroidered insertion, 3 yards entredeaux, 1 yard cotton beading, 1 yard lace edging (1-3 inches wide), 60 weight cotton thread to match lace. 2 yards ½ inch wide satin ribbon. Small neck roll pillow form. Sewing machine in good working order; all basic sewing supplies; size 60 universal needles. Blended Bricks Quilt Have Jelly Rolls? Make a quilt! This is a fabulous, fun and fast quilt that you can create in a day. The size of the finished quilt top depends on how many rounds you make.

Jelly Roll Race

Supplies: One jelly roll (40 strips or approximately 2 7/8 yards of fabric) will make a 52 x 56 quilt. Two jelly rolls (80 strips or approximately 5 ¼ yards of fabric) will make a 72 x 76 quilt.

Join us Friday Night for the Jelly Roll Races! Once again we will be hosting a race to provide quilt tops for Project Linus. You can ‘purchase’ our eclectic jelly rolls, put together by the National Honor Society of Windsor Forest High School, for $5 if you want to keep your quilt top or you can get it for free when you donate your top. Great fun and a fast way to make a quilt top.

Take your covered dish to the guild meeting, church or family dinner in style! In one session you will be able to complete this casserole carrier and have it for the next event. You will have the opportunity to embroider an initial on

your carrier during class for an extra touch. This will hold a 13 x 9 x 2” dish with lid. Supplies: Basic Sewing supplies, 1/3 yd (straps), 1 yd (pocket), 1 yd (outside), 1 1/2 yd 22” insulbrite, marking pen
