a) Explain/describe the process of completing Step D. Please be detailed.  You click the crop tool and click and drag the cursor that changes to a cropping type cursor. You then would click and drag to adjust the size of the cropping boundary. You will then accept the part of the image that you chose to crop and photoshop will crop the image and delete the pixels outside the cropping boundary. When you’re done, you press enter to accept the crop. b) Explain how to preview an image’s printed size  You click File. And then click Print. The image’s size would be displayed in the left plane of the dialog box. c) Explain how to trim an image  You click Image. Then go to Trim. When the Trim dialog box opens up, you specify how to select the type of pixels you want to trim and then you select the areas you want to trim and click OK. d) Explain the steps required to change the canvas size of an image.  You click Image. Then go to Canvas Size. When the Canvas Size dialog box opens, it will list the current dimensions, but you can click to change the unit if you’d like to. You then type the new dimensions you want in the width and/or height boxes. You can also modify the directions and specify the background color. When you are done, click OK. e) What is the purpose of the ‘Resample Image’ checkbox in the Image Size dialog box?  The purpose of the ‘Resample Image’ checkbox is to change the number of pixels in the image on the image when adjusting the resolution, it will also change the on-screen size. f)

Explain how to ‘Crop and Straighten Photos’ in Photoshop.  You click File, Automate and then Crop and Straighten Photos. Photoshop will straighten the photos, crop out the blank spaces and put the copies of the photos in a separate image window, but keeps the original image in its own window.
