alking around New York City in the summer I remain a fascinated tourist out to discover visual poetry in line, form, and unexpected juxtapositions. Sandy Kaufman is a painter and photographer living in Brooklyn, New York. He has worked for Columbia University and New York University for the past 25 years as a creative director while continuing to work on his paintings and photography. Now, he is focused solely on his personal art. In addition to Summer Shadows, Sandy Kaufman has published four books of photography: Recent Works, Oaxaca, Around the City, and Into Spring.
