DEI hosts evening gathering to highlight DEI and welcome folks back to campus Last month the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion task force at Sanford Burnham Prebys sponsored a special gathering to highlight the importance of DEI and welcome all back to campus with a happy hour. Dr. Hud Freeze was our host and Dr. Randy Mills delivered a speech to more than 150 attendees on DEI’s importance to the ultimate success of the Institute. His key message was, the right thing to do Better Scientists Better Research is also the right thing to do, so there can be no argument regarding it being included as a fundamental pillar of both Better Scientists Better Research our culture and our strategy.
