REGISTER NOW! REGISTRATION: ALL FEES MUST BE PAID AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. CLASS CONFIRMATION: Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope to receive a class confirmation. Otherwise, you will only be notified if we CANNOT process your registration. ENROLLMENT: Where possible, class enrollment limitations are included in course descriptions. The Arts Center reserves the right of cancelling classes which do not meet minimum enrollment. Registered students in classes cancelled due to less than minimum enrollment may transfer to another class or be reimbursed for the full tuition. HOLIDAY/CANCELLATIONS: Classes will not meet on major holidays, unless students are notified otherwise. Make-up classes are the responsibility of the instructor and student. Please, no walk-ins. SCHOLARSHIPS: A limited number of Arts Associates, XCEL Energy, and Blanche Lapin and Ruth DePalma Fund scholarships are available for up to half tuition costs. Scholarship forms must be filled-out completely and returned to the Arts Center one week prior to the beginning of class. Forms are available at the Welcome Center. NO REFUND AFTER FIRST CLASS SESSION. Please give a two day notice if you are unable to attend a class. Please allow four weeks for delivery of refund check. Design and create a luminous silk scarf and a vibrant color print while exploring basic design and color theory. At least one paper print will be pulled from the silk printing process uses in the scarf design. The printing process used results in colors blending and swirling together to create intriguing designs adding to your artistic tool-kit for future projects!

Learn how to better “see” and transfer your vision by drawing with graphite and other materials. Subjects include landscape and still life, while improving perspective and composition skills. Intermediate level drawing will include drawing the human face and form.
