Yoga for Wellness Stress management is an important aspect of a healthy immune system. Consistent weekly yoga practice helps a body relax and manage stress more effectively. The effect of yoga is stimulating and restorative, an overall tonic for muscles, joints, organs and the nervous system. In Wellness Yoga, deep breathing and body awareness merge as you are guided through 60 minutes of stretching and strengthening asanas, followed by 30 minutes of core toning. Class closes with deep relaxation. This class is perfect for beginning and intermediate levels, and may be attended as a 60- or 90-minute session. Bring a yoga mat and water bottle.

Tanya Alverson, Certified Yoga Instructor | Ages 16-adult yamuna body rolling (ybr) Join the Wellness Revolution! Learn to use Yamuna Body Rolling to free bound muscles and joints. YBR intersects gravity, body weight and specially-designed balls to dynamically stretch, lengthen and tone muscle fiber. Improved physical comfort and range of motion lead to feeling younger in your movement. Develop body awareness and improve postural alignment as you gain a better grasp of your own anatomy. Focus areas include neck, shoulders, arms/hands, back, chest, abdomen, hips and legs/feet. Wear closerfitting exercise clothing. The effect of YBR is similar to that of massage, exept the ball is in your hands!
