Quality

THINGS HAVE CHANGED A LOT IN THE LAST 80 YEARS. OUR HIGH QUALITY STANDARDS REMAIN THE SAME. Our standards are based on an uncompromising desire to work to the highest possible standards. This is demonstrated through every element with which we work: the selection of the wood for our saunas, the cutting-edge design and materials in our sauna heaters – the heart of the sauna – the use of the latest microprocessor technology in our control units all coupled with our high level of customer service, support and safety standards. KLAFS quality guarantees perfection in every detail. Our in-house research and development department is constantly working on new ideas and the development of new products to maximise health and wellness benefits and the sustainability of our sauna and spa products. Since 1990 KLAFS have registered more than 100 patents. Everything with a KLAFS label is sure to guarantee well-being, health and world-leading innovation. From the initial consultation and design development through to com pletion – KLAFS supplies everything from a single source. Our service is individualised to the needs of our customers. Sustainability & ecology

SUSTAINABILITY AT KLAFS. As the world’s leading sauna manufacturer, sustainability is naturally a central concern for us. We take our responsibility for the environment very seriously. KLAFS has been attentive to the sustainable use of natural resources and continuous improvement of sustainable forest management for many years. Therefore, we only use certified woods of known proven ance, which meet the ecological, social and economic standards as laid down globally. This has been certified by independent quality labels and awards. We take care to minimise the consumption of energy and natural resources and to keep emissions and CO₂ pollutants to the minimum. We are constantly working on decreasing these figures. This is signed and sealed by the KLAFS GREEN SAUNA sign.

11

MINIMISED WASTE. We try to reduce as much waste as possible in our business areas. In our production process we use special machines in order to reduce waste to a minimum. Residual wood waste will be efficiently recycled. INTELLIGENT ENERGY MANAGEMENT. 80% of our office and factory heating demand is covered by wood waste, without using other energy sources and additional transportation costs. The heating oven is automatically fed and thus constantly generates energy from waste. REGIONAL SUPPLIERS. We prefer regional suppliers from our immediate surroundings. This leads to a noticeable decrease in logistical planning and significant 足e mission reduction.

115 DEGREES OF WELL-BEING. For some people, their experience of spa is limited to their bathroom at home. But however pleasant their home bathing experiences may be, they pale in comparison to the real spa experience, where the body passes through all temperature zones between –15 °C and +100 °C. The variation of hot and cold experienced by the body induces the feeling of wellbeing that spa visitors so enjoy. Thermal stimulation of the senses first invigorates the organism then causes it to enter a state of deep calm and relaxation.
