weather, and so on, is used for manufacturing of tires, adhesives, tapes, sealants and others. It is
a co-polymer of isobutylene and small fraction of isoprene. Thus, it is also called as Isobutylene
Isoprene Rubber (IIR) or Poly Isobutene (PIB).The global butyl rubber market is segmented into
by type, by application. The butyl rubber is of three types namely, regular butyl rubber, bromo
butyl rubber, chloro butyl rubber. These are widely used in applications such as tyres and tubes
