About Us
Fruzyme Biotech India Private Limited is a company promoted jointly by the entrepreneurs and technocrat. The entrepreneurs G.P.Karthikeyan and P.Sureshkumar and technocrat Dr.K.K. Bhattacharya joined hands to manufacture enzymes(plant extracts) like Papain, Bromelain, Pectin, Lysozyme etc from Pappaya, Pineapple stems, eggs and other vegetable peels.
Our Team Dr.K.K.Bhattacharya, Effectionately called KKB, is a Ph.D He is pioneered in Pappaya related researches and established proven methods for extracting papain enzyme under various process types. He was selected as “YOUNGEST SCIENTIST” by National Biotechnology Board in 1984.
Mr.G.P.Karthikeyan, Commerce graduate and having experience in Hosiery Exports for more than 20 years, After joining hands with Dr.KKB and Sureshkumar keeping in mind of serving farming community by value addition of various agricultural projects.
Mr.P.Sureshkumar, A graduate in commerce and well trained in the field of poultry farming and papaya cultivation very successfully operating/marketing for the last 20 years by keeping intact with 400 farmers in South India.

We are conceived by all the three promoters to manufacture and market all kinds of enzymes from Pappaya Latex. Latex is a semi-solid, high viscos material tapped from Pappaya fruit. This is the base raw material and which will be processed under various methods to extract Ultra Refined Pappain Powder (URPP).

Our Quality starts with good raw material and unique methods adopted during processing; Followed by our mode of operations and additions, cleaness of processing equipments and pipe lines also the ambience. Completely enclosed production zone which allows only light. All Labours are set to follow our protocols (wearing sterile gloves, mask, cap, work bare footed) inside the production zone. They are resistricted to touch any material with bare hands & litter to the floor. Entire production zone are frequently fumigated at regular intervals.

Our R&D process tests all the sample latex from the field, pooled latex, intermediate product and finished products. The results of analysis are recorded systemically under suitable title in prescribed formats (enclosures) the R&D lab is fully equipped and well-staffed, accommodating UV VIS spectrophotometer, precise analytical balance, laminar flow, Microscope, Incubators, Precision water bath, pH meter, Centrifuge, colony counter, Autoclave, Vacuum chamber, muffle furnace, KJD nitrogen estimation set-up, Magnetic stirrer, Centrifuge, Universal water bath, etc.
Materials we use are strictly food grade. Proper use of equipment is required to attain ultra refined papain powder (filter aid, antimicrobials, filter cloth etc). We check for product availability with suppliers based on the specifications before choosing. Followed with making a specimen sample and test in our lab which follows the specifications as stipulated by Indian pharmacopoeia. To Quality check the product supplied we take a sample from the lot and test it before sending to production zone.
