Concerns: Room Decontamination Using the Q-Jet Superior Together with Sanosil S015 as an Effective Measure Against Enveloped Viruses

To whom it may concern Dr. Daniel Kümin, in his previous roles as a biosafety professional at Spiez Laboratory and the institute of Virology and Immunology (IVI) as well as in his current role as CEO and Founder of Institute Dr. Daniel Kümin, has been able to show that rooms such as high- and maximum containment laboratories (Biosafety Level 3 / 4), large animal rooms, as well as other less secure environments can successfully, efficiently and safely be fumigated using the Q-Jet Superior in combination with Sanosil S015. Traditionally, these tests are run using model organisms such as bacterial spores, which are considered to be more resistant to disinfectants than vegetative bacterial cells or viruses. However, we have also tested and validated the Q-Jet Superior with Sanosil S015 against non-enveloped viruses. Based on the available scientific literature, it can safely be concluded that the Q-Jet Superior in combination with Sanosil S015 will be just as effective against enveloped viruses, such as Coronaviruses or Influenza Viruses, as against the agents described above.

I can confirm that the Sanosil Q-Jet Superior in combination with Sanosil S015 is a safe and efficient alternative to other fumigation methods on the market and can endorse it without reservation. Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren Dr. Daniel Kümin konnte in seinen früheren Funktionen als Fachmann für Biosicherheit am Labor Spiez und am Institut für Virologie und Immunologie (IVI) sowie in seiner aktuellen Rolle als CEO und Institutsgründer zeigen, dass Räume wie Hoch- und Maximalsicherheitslabors (Biosicherheitsstufe 3 / 4), grosse Tierräume sowie andere, weniger sensible Umgebungen mit dem Q-Jet Superior in Kombination mit Sanosil S015 erfolgreich, effizient und sicher begast werden können. Traditionell werden diese Tests mit Modellorganismen wie bakteriellen Sporen durchgeführt welche als resistenter gegen Desinfektionsmittel angesehen werden als vegetative Bakterienzellen oder Viren.

Wir haben jedoch den Q-Jet Superior mit Sanosil S015 auch gegen unbehüllte Viren getestet und validiert. Auf der Grundlage der verfügbaren wissenschaftlichen Literatur kann mit Sicherheit der Schluss gezogen werden, dass der Q-Jet Superior in Kombination mit Sanosil S015 gegen behüllte Viren, wie Coronaviren oder Influenzaviren, genauso wirksam ist wie gegen die oben beschriebenen Erreger.
