NEW NOISE BADGES & SHOWCASE TICKETS WELCOME TO THE 6TH ANNUAL NEW NOISE SANTA BARBARA MUSIC CONFERENCE & FESTIVAL! Since 2009, the New Noise Music Conference & Festival has welcomed hundreds of artists and music industry speakers to Santa Barbara in hopes of generating an atmosphere where musicians, fans, and those interested in careers in the music business can listen, learn, and connect for a more creative and successful future. This year, we’ll showcase live music Wednesday, October 15th thru Sunday, October 19th at Velvet Jones, SOhO, Muddy Waters, Blind Tiger, and Whiskey Richards, plus our very own Block Party on Gray Ave in the Funk Zone. Our annual music conference — featuring the return of CEO/Founder of the Vans Warped Tour Kevin Lyman — takes over a new venue, The Santa Barbara Art Foundry, on Sunday, October 19, from 11am-4pm. Thanks to the Santa Barbara Art Foundry, Jensen’s Audio Visual and Sonos, we are pleased to offer our music conference FREE to the public for the first time in our six year history. After you stop by the conference, you can hop next door as the heart of Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone will host our annual New Noise Block Party. This year, we’ll feature a TON of music including electro/pop /funk Nashville rockers Cherub, indie-pop darlings The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Isla Vista’s very own electro grunge rockers FMLYBND, + many more. We’ll also host nonprofit organizations, local artists, artisanal vendors, live art, and a sure to be killer beer and wine garden with a built in silent disco hosted by our friends & co presenters, We The Beat. We’ll also feature wine from some of our amazing Funk Zone winery neighbors. All of this can be enjoyed by purchasing a New Noise VIP badge for only $55. It’s the best way to experience the festival and will get you in and out of our clubs, conference and Block Party all week throughout Downtown Santa Barbara! SO play Pianos on State, go see some music you’ve never heard, and help support live music and enjoy Santa Barbara.

–– Jeff Theimer, Director/Cofounder, New Noise Music Conference & Festival

Prepare for planned performances from full bands — including many New Noise artists who happen to jump on the keys before or after sets — as well as spontaneous eruptions of plain awesomeness from familiar faces around town. WHO? You, me, and everyone else can play, thanks to the generous support of the Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation, Notes for Notes, Santa Barbara Education Foundation, the Santa Barbara Arts Collaborative, the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission, the New Noise Music Foundation, and, of course, the many players who will perform throughout the week!
