Calendar of Fundraisers Every year, Santa Barbara’s nonprofit community produces a spectacular lineup of fundraisers, galas, and special events. From fun-runs and bake sales to glamorous galas, Santa Barbara’s nonprofits make it possible for all of us to give back to our community in enjoyable and creative ways. We at The Independent continue to support and applaud the organizations whose yearlong altruism improves the lives and welfare of many in our community.
