Entry forms are available at the City of Santa Fe Arts Commission For more information contact the Arts Commission at 955-6707 or www.santafeartscommission.org This year’s theme is “Timelessness” in honor of the conclusion of Santa Fe’s 400th Commemoration and in celebration of looking forward. Entry form must be received by the City of Santa Fe Arts Commission no later than August 16, 2010. Forms should be mailed to the City of Santa Fe Arts Commission, P.O. Box 909, Santa Fe, NM 87504-0909. Entry pieces must be delivered to the Santa Fe Community Gallery, 201 W. Marcy St. (at the intersection of Marcy and Sheridan), between 8 am - 5 pm on Monday, August 23, 2010 (early entries will not be accepted). All artists must be living and reside within the immediate Santa Fe area. Individuals who were winners of the poster competition in the past three years are not eligible. Artwork must be an original two-dimensional work of a: painting, drawing, etching, serigraph, lithograph, photograph and/or mixed media. Reproduction quality photographs of a 3-dimensional artwork are eligible. Vertical and horizontal entries are accepted. Display requirements: All entries must have a wire hanger and be ready to hang. Easels, props, and special lighting are not allowed. The artist name must not be visible. A title card must accompany entries. The entries will be judged by Arts Commissioners Justin Bransford, Joey Chavez, Kirk Ellis, Michael Namingha, Peter Pacheco, Kerri Segell, Ramona Sakiestewa, Gail Springer, Melissa White as well as City of Santa Fe First Lady Carol Rose; Latricia Gonzales-McKosky, of the Santa Fe Gallery Association; Lori Snable, artist and 2010 Winner of the Santa Fe Poster Competition. The City of Santa Fe assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur to entries delivered before 8:00 am on August 23, 2010, or left after the scheduled pick-up time. All participating artists must enter into a professional services agreement if chosen. The winning original will be returned to the artist.

The City of Santa Fe Arts Commission invites artists to take part in the 2010 - 2011 City Different City Poster Competition. The winning artwork will be reproduced as a four-color poster. The selected artist will receive $1,000.00 and 150 posters. The poster is a marketing tool for the City and the artist.

All artists are invited to display their entry in the exhibit at the Santa Fe Community Gallery August 27th to September 10th
