ABOUT ME Hi, I'm Santiago, an architect mainly interested in process optimization through BIM. I have always been characterized by being a good leader and taking the initiative to optimize tasks in the teams in which I have worked. I greatly enjoy being involved in all stages of a project, from its conception and planning, to the follow up in the construction. Unfortunately in this last stage I have not been able to be as involved but it is something I would love to participate in.
From the architectural point of view, I have always been interested in researching and understanding how people inhabit spaces and the integration of the architectural project at different scales.
Before studying architecture my passions were directed towards administration and art, especially music and painting. I found in architecture the satisfaction of managing a project in its different dimensions and making it a reality.

My purposes as a professional are directed to BIM Management, Leed certification, design thinking.

On the other hand, the more private sides open to the landscape through glass doors, include noble materials and incorporate climate protection elements. In this case, a pergola is used for the outdoor social area and for the private outdoor areas, a band is created to frame the rear garden.

SECTION B
For the plumbing modelling, we contacted the manufacturer and used the Revit families they developed in each of their lines.
DOCUMENTATION SECTION A

With this project we began to implement the use of KEYNOTES in order to save time when making annotations on the drawings. This meant an improvement in productivity in the generation of drawings for subsequent projects.
In order to know what types of door did we needed to get a quote, we used shared parameters to de ine door opening directions and hardware types. We also used the room name ield to be able to track each item.

In addition, a solar study between the hottest and coldest months helped us to de ine the solar protection elements and the appropriate u-factor of the windows to achieve greater energy ef iciency.

With this project, we also developed a simple way to send our suppliers and contractors the information of material quantities, so that they would understand the project with schematics and 3d material as support material to the planimetry. We worked on a list of worksheets among which are: Back ill, Block layout, Concrete, Drywall takeoff, Finishes, form-board, Framing, Insulation, Labor, Rebar, Roof takeoff.

CLIKCLAK HOTEL PROJECT INFO: This hotel has more than ten different types of compact rooms, grouped and stacked in volumes of different sizes (habitable cells), separated by balconies, gardens and terraces, where the tropical climate can access and affect the building with its currents of fresh air, native vegetation and pleasant temperature. The new construction completes the block and perforates it, allowing pedestrian passage and creating an internal park. Project type: Commercial Area: 8723 m2 Naska Digital

The structure of this project consists of piles, foundation beams, and concrete columns up to the irst level. After the irst level, the structure is composed of steel columns, IPE beams of different dimensions and structural ribs.
Page 15
Primary structural elements (columns, beams, structural ribs) were modelled. 3d details of steel in foundations and structural connections were also modelled for documentation as showed in the next page.

In this project I was also able to explore the operation of electrical circuits, expand knowledge about this type of families. This is something I would like to delve more into because this is the type of system I have worked with the least in the time I have worked with revit.
Page 19
All wall families in this project are modelled in detail. Each wall has its component layers assigned to it in order to easily quantify materials.

By having so many types, the ilter tool allowed me to identify and corroborate that each wall corresponded to the right type of space and function.

June 21 - December 21 Analysis:
f

During this period of the year in the morning the internal facades and the east facade are the ones that receive more natural lighting. The east facade, besides being the longest, receives more sun during the afternoon, so in the morning most of it remains in shadow, being necessary more arti icial lighting.

ANOTHER COORDINATION PROJECTS For this project we generated a model to verify the design of the trusses and identi ied some dimensional laws. In this way we were able to generate a report before they were produced.

This Models is graphically represented within the Model as a speci ic system in terms of size, shape, location, quantity, and orientation with detailing information. There is suf icient detail and accuracy for fabrication of the represented component. The quantity, size, shape, location, and orientation of the element as designed can be measured directly from the model without referring to non - modelled information such as notes or dimension callouts.
