imperfect produce VIVID - ERRATIC - IMPERFECT
NARRATIVE
Approximately 20% of fruits and vegetables in the U.S. never leave the farm just because they look a little different. Instead of ending up on your dinner plate, they end up left in the field or trucked to landfill. A company called Imperfect Produce deliver these unwanted items to your door every week for 30% less of what you would find in the supermarket. My concept is inspired by the work that they do, for the imperfect, unwanted, and surplus produce. MATERIALS
Canvas, suede, velvet COLOR THEORY
