At 11,249 feet, Mt. Hood is Oregon’s highest mountain—an adventurer’s paradise. Hiking, guided fly fishing trips, rafting excursions and mountain bike trails are all nearby. Cyclists can even ride the Mountain Bike Sky Chair at the Adventure Park at the Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, providing access to alpine trails in summer months. The Resort is famous for its 27-hole golf course, which attracts golfers year-round from all over the Northwest. A 2009 renovation of The Courses, designed by John Harbottle, created awe-inspiring views and three nine-hole tracks that cater to golfers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros. Chef Paul Bosch and his team have created a
culinary experience that far surpasses a typical “hotel restaurant” with the menu at Altitude. The Salmon Roulade with hazelnut pesto,
yukon potato rosti, eggplant agrodolce and arugula melts in your mouth. The 800 square-foot, one-bedroom Croft Suite has a huge living room, wood-burning fireplace, minikitchen and dining area. Spa-like bathrooms are stocked with Green Natüra environmentally friendly soaps, shampoo and lotion.
