BETWEEN GRAPEVINES AND VALLEYS Located in the Eastern Townships, a mere 40 minutes east of Montreal, Brome-Missisquoi is a region of tasty treats, cultural wealth and a host of outdoor activities. The region has 21 municipalities, home to some of the prettiest villages in the province of Quebec. The region, which is also regarded as the cradle of viticulture in Quebec, features a Wine Route that includes 20 vineyards in a radius of 25 km. Many activities are offered at the wineries: walking through the vines to see the outdoor art exhibit, learn how to pop a bottle of bubbly. There are also the Bromont and Sutton mountains, and with its ample amount of green spaces the region is an ideal spot for cycling and mountain biking, hiking, golfing and downhill skiing.
