The brand. The myth. The legend. The Hard Rock brand came from humble beginnings, but it has grown into one of the largest, most successful entrepreneurships in the world. The brand for Hard Rock Tulsa is a reflection of the history of the Hard Rock brand; a simple, authentic style representing Rock ‘n’ Roll. The range of styles and graphics used in the brand reflects the spirit of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

The colors The colors come from the Hard Rock logo. A range of purples and golds coupled with black and grey create the iconic visual representation of the brand. Secondary colors are to be used sparingly and as accents to the main creative. Do not use fluorescents, pastels or other bright colors in the creative.

The constant What is the constant? The Hard Rock brand is representative of Rock ‘n’ Roll culture. The elements that make Hard Rock Hard Rock. The textures The textures help tie the brand together. Photo-realistic images ranging from sleek metallic textures to worn and weathered textures create an atmosphere for new and old to come together and rock.


Rock imagery Hard Rock was built to bring entertainment to music lovers. It is the soul of the brand. The music keeps the brand alive. Musical elements ingrained in each piece pay homage to the original story of the Hard Rock.

The fonts

The fonts are sleek and easy to read. Bold sans serif fonts create a system to which each look is easily recognizable and gets the information across in a brief and manageable manner.

This headline uses a clean sans serif typography. The amount being given away is the dominant element in the logo. The distressed background and textured elements give the feel of a worn and weathered look that is still legible. Musical elements are included to provide the constant identification of the Hard Rock brand.

Headline example The headline or promotion name should be readable and adhere to the rules of the constant. The amount of cash being given away should be the largest part of the promo logo.

Cash promotions For cash promotions, the amount given away should be the dominant element. Each piece should include a cash element. Rules of the constant should be applied to each creative piece. Photo-realistic images should be used for cash and background elements. Do not use raining cash or script fonts. This typography used for this promo is solid and clean. The truck is dominant and the elements around it relate in color and style. A simple, clean metal background complements the style and colors of the headline and truck.
