Modern and contemporary detailing to update the timeless classic to 2014 Traditional Cut & Fit
Sleek Lines
Intricate Folds
Slim tailored fit with folded tuck detail on the front and back. High collar with double button fastening. Asymmetric collar detailing with a double layered left collar. Sleek lines shine through with top stitching detail. A classic shape and style with contemporary features, the modern man can wear from the boardroom to the bar.
Lightweight cotton poplin allows the shirt to be worn in different environments and functions.
A cotton drill for button stand and cuff details, to add textural dimension to the shirt.
The Breif: In collaboration with a print designer and womenswear designer, design a contemporary printed mans shirt to sit alongside a woman’s dress cohesively. Taking inspiration from the print direction creatively pattern cut a man’s shirt with consideration to print placement.
